When there is a need to integrate DC motors controlled by reverse polarity with the Grenton system, there are two solutions. These are presented below.
Control using Roller Shutter module
By choosing this option, four additional relays will be required.
Wiring diagram:
To drive the motor in the desired direction, the corresponding relay must be forced:
- UP for a first direction,
- DOWN for a second direction.
Control using Relay 4HP module
Wiring diagram:
To drive the motor in the desired direction, the corresponding pair of relays must be forced:
- OUT1 and OUT2 for a first direction,
- OUT3 and OUT4 for a second direction.
Do not allow a situation where both pairs of relays are driven simultaneously. In such a situation, it is best to prepare logic that will switch off the other pair of relays before switching on the desired pair.
