# Can CLU with Z-Wave antenna be placed in a control cabinet?

A module with Z-Wave antenna can be placed in a control cabinet. If it is to be used for Z-Wave communication, it should not be mounted in a steel cabinet, because it works as classical Faraday’s can. Separate PVC should be used, or, if we do not have any other possibility, an external elevated antenna should be used. We have it in our offer available as Antenna LR.
