The purpose of this article is to present how to integrate the Fronius Symo 8.2-3-M inverter with the Grenton Smart Home system via the Modbus RTU communication protocol.   The example will read data regarding, among others: - generated instantaneous power - total energy generated during the day, year and since the beginning of the installation's operation. To implement the example below we need: - CLU Z-Wave (named ***CLU***) - Gate Modbus (named ***Gate\_Modbus***) - Inverter Fronius   **Configuration of Modbus virtual objects** 1\.
