# Integration with the Klimor recuperator

The purpose of this article is presenting an integration of Grenton system with Klimor recuperator using Modbus RTU communication protocol.

The recuperator chosen for this presentation is Klimor KCO+. The user manual is available in the [attachment](https://knowledgebase.grenton.com/hubfs/KLIMOR_DTR_KCO_PLUS.pdf?hsLang=en)**.**

The integration allows to (for example):

- Read the mode of work and change its state;
- Read the set temperature and change its value (for different modes);
- Read the supply fan efficiency and change its value (for different modes);
- Read the exhaust fan efficiency and change its value (for different modes).

In order to execute this integration, there are needed:

- Gate Modbus (named *Gate\_Modbus*)
- Klimor recuperator

 

**Configuration of Modbus RTU virtual objects**

1. Add *ModbusRTU* virtual object on *Gate\_Modbus*:

2. For default settings of recuperator -  enter the value of* Embedded features* in *ModbusRTU* virtual objects as follows:

\* Set temperature in MAX mode:

\* Supply fan efficiency in MAX mode:

3. Send the configuration to *Gate Modbus*.
