In the Grenton system, it is possible to read a signal from a device that has an open collector (OC) type output. To make such a connection, you will need an external relay, which will be controlled by a pulse coming out of the integrated device, and then will pass a potential-free signal to the input of one of our modules, such as Digital IN or I/O 8/8.
An example of a device with an OC-type output is the F&F DRL-12 laser distance sensor. Below, you can find how to connect it to the Grenton system.
