Integration with PRO-VENT recuperator
The purpose of this article is presenting an integration of Grenton system with PRO-VENT recuperator using Modbus RTU communication protocol.
The documentation is available at: PRO-VENT - documentation.
This intergation allows us to read:
- ventilation operating mode;
- ventilation speed;
- heater operating mode;
- heater setpoint temperature;
- outside air temperature;
- exhaust air temperature;
- ventilation efficiency (supply / exhaust);
and to control such parameters as:
- ventilation operating mode;
- ventilation speed;
- heater operating mode;
- heater setpoint temperature.
In order to execute this integration, there are needed:
- Gate Modbus (named Gate_Modbus)
- Recuperator PRO-VENT
Configuration of Modbus RTU virtual objects
- Create a ModbusRTU virtual object:

- Ensure that the following transmission parameters are set in the integrated recuperator: 19200 bd, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, with parity (Even).
For these settings, enter the values of Embedded features in ModbusRTU virtual objects as follows:
* Ventilation mode (0 - manual, 1 - auto):
* Ventilation speed:
* Heater opertaing mode (0 - off,1 - manual, 2 - auto):
* Heater setpoint temperature:
* Outside air temperature :
* Exhaust air temperature:
* Ventilation efficiency - supply :
* Ventilation efficiency - exhaust:
- Change to 10 the value of the ModbusMasterFrameSpace feature in the Gate Modbus module:

- Send the created configuration to the Gate Modbus module.
